Katelyn Logie focuses her practice on defending personal injury claims including, catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. She has experience defending trucking and commercial motor vehicle accidents, third-party automobile accidents, and first-party claims related to uninsured/underinsured motorist policies. She has represented businesses and individuals. She has also defended insurance carriers at various stages of litigation including trials.
Before joining Thompson Coe, Katelyn worked at an insurance defense law firm. She has also worked at a large personal injury plaintiff firm, where she gained knowledge and experience immediately after becoming licensed to practice law.
Prior to attending law school, Katelyn worked as a drilling fluids engineer for one of the world’s largest oilfield service companies, Halliburton. She has also worked as an oilfield health, safety, and environmental consultant.
Katelyn was inducted into the Order of Barristers, a prestigious honor society for law students who excel in oral advocacy and brief writing.
Obtained Summary Judgment dismissals in multiple automobile personal injury cases.
Obtained a zero-dollar defense verdict at trial in Maverick County, Texas.
