Thomas Annis is a trial lawyer whose practice primarily focuses on the defense of professional liability matters involving lawyers, accountants, real estate brokerages, title companies, insurance agents, property managers, and other professional clients. He also represents clients in commercial litigation matters, ranging from simple contract cases to complex business disputes.

Thomas combines his strong written and oral advocacy skills with an energetic, detail-oriented approach to every case his clients entrust him with no matter the size of the dispute. Obtained take-nothing arbitration award for mortgage field services provider after multi-day final hearing in arbitration involving claims of breach of contract and several other claims brought by former subcontractor

Obtained take-nothing summary judgment for owner of multi-million-dollar apartment complex in lawsuit involving trespass to try title claim arising out of alleged fraudulent deeds

Obtained take-nothing summary judgment on behalf of real estate brokerage and agent in lawsuit involving claims of negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, and fraud in a real estate transaction brought by former clients

Obtained summary judgment in bill of review case overturning $1+ million default judgment entered against client by successfully arguing client was not served properly in underlying case

Obtained take-nothing summary judgment for law firm in lawsuit involving claims of legal malpractice based on novel application of the Hughes tolling rule; judgment upheld on appeal by Dallas Court of Appeals and Texas Supreme Court
