Christina Anderson is a civil litigation attorney focusing her practice on national discovery for a Fortune 500 company involved in mass tort litigation.

Prior to joining Thompson Coe, Christina practiced as a civil defense litigator in the areas of product liability, toxic tort, premises liability, personal injury, wrongful death, first-party, class-action defense, and employment law.

She has experience handling matters from their initial stages and throughout all phases of litigation. Christina has a comprehensive approach to litigation that emphasizes heavy discovery in preparation for trial, balances with the opportunity for resolution, and always provides the best overall outcome for clients. She has also taken and participated in hundreds of depositions, including medical and technical experts, claims adjusters, police officers, and persons most knowledgeable.

Christina also serves Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District Court as a Conciliation Court Referee. In this role, she presides over hearings involving small claims with a controversy of up to $15,000.

Representative Experience

Successfully obtained attorney and party sanctions due to unnecessary litigation expenses.

Obtained a rare summary judgment in New York Supreme Court for lack of evidence of toxic exposure to plaintiff.

Second chair trial experience representing a major retailer in a premises liability matter.

Rich motion practice experience including drafting civil appellate briefs, trial and arbitration briefs, multiple successful motions for summary judgment, the exclusion of evidence, and post-trial relief.
