Daniel Fulkerson is a seasoned attorney with experience in litigating and arbitrating a wide variety of industrial and transportation matters and regularly represents clients in personal injury, commercial, transactional, insurance, and regulatory issues. Dan has extensive experience in the logistics industry. He is a licensed customs broker and has served as general counsel to a 3PL located in the Houston area.
Dan has regularly defended complex personal injury claims arising in industrial accidents, commercial motor vehicle claims, premises liability and medical malpractice. In addition, he has used his knowledge of the logistics industry in breach of contract cases and has often litigated cargo claims under the Carmack Amendment, Carriage of Goods at Sea Act, and warehouseman’s liability. He has worked closely with insurance carriers on coverage opinions and declaratory judgment actions.
Dan is a frequent speaker at industry events and serves as the co-Chair of the Transportation Lawyers Association ADR Committee where he oversees arbitrated matters brought under the TLA arbitration rules.

Obtained favorable settlement for a major motor carrier during the trial of an auto accident that had resulted in catastrophic injuries to an unborn child.
Defense verdict after a three-week federal court trial on a $26 million breach of contract case.
Successful summary judgment for a motor carrier on the Carmack Amendment in a $2 million cargo claim.
