Samantha De Hoyos focuses on defending companies and individuals in claims for premises liability, commercial automobile accidents, personal injury, and wrongful death. Prior to joining Thompson Coe, Samantha represented domestic and multinational employers in claims for federal and state workers’ compensation benefits.
During her time in law school, Samantha split her time attending classes and receiving hands-on experience. Samantha served as a student attorney representing low-income clients negatively impacted by Hurricane Harvey at the University of Houston’s Consumer Law Clinic. She also investigated work-place harassment claims as an intern for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”) and gained litigation experience at two Houston based law firms and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Beau A. Miller.
