Megan Tilton primarily focuses on insurance coverage disputes. While in law school, Megan interned in a variety of legal practices including civil, transactional, and military law. She was an editor of the Texas Tech Law Review and a member of the Board of Barristers. Megan was also an active member of Texas Tech’s nationally ranked advocacy program and won multiple awards for both writing and oral advocacy.
Representative Experience
Obtained favorable order defeating a Motion to Dismiss in the Northern District of Texas holding that injured parties are appropriate defendants in federal declaratory judgment actions brought by insurers even if they have not yet obtained a judgment against the insured.
