Case K. Donovan

Case K. Donovan is a native Austinite and an associate attorney in the litigation and casualty section, focusing primarily on personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits involving allegations of premises liability, dram shop, and general negligence. Case also has experience defending general contractors and subcontractors in construction defect cases.

Case applies his problem-solving abilities and personality to the practice of law, focusing on client needs and desires while leading them to favorable outcomes, whether that be dispositive relief, settlement, or trial.

Prior to joining the firm, Case served as an associate attorney at a boutique Texas-based litigation firm, where he represented insured clients in a wide range of civil litigation matters across the state. In his free time, Case enjoys traveling, seeing live music, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Acted as second chair in federal court jury trial and obtained a take-nothing judgment on behalf a major insurer in a matter involving a fatal motor vehicle accident.

Obtained summary judgment on behalf of an oil and gas pipeline owner and operator in a personal injury case arising out of a pipeline explosion.

Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a large corporation on the basis that its employee deviated from the course and scope of employment at the time of a serious motor vehicle accident.

Obtained summary judgment on behalf of bowling alley in a dram shop action brought by a pedestrian injured by an intoxicated driver.

Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a contractor involving premises liability claims arising out of a fatal slip-and-fall incident.

Represented an international corporation in a case arising out of a chemical exposure incident that resulted in multiple fatalities.
