Angela Sorensen focuses her practice on professional liability. While in law school, she clerked for the United States Department of Justice Environment and Natural Resources Division, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. Obtained summary judgment on behalf of client dismissing all claims in an accounting malpractice dispute asserting breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, professional negligence, and violations of the Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
Obtained dismissal of all claims in a legal malpractice lawsuit through the Texas Rule of Civil Procedure 91(a) Motion to Dismiss.
Obtained traditional summary judgment and no-evidence summary judgment in a case asserting claims of violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and Breach of Fiduciary Duty.
Obtained traditional summary judgment in a lawsuit asserting claims of negligence, gross negligence, negligent misrepresentation, and violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
