Austin Attorneys Prevail in $300K Personal Injury Trial

Austin attorney Sean Crowley obtained a complete defense verdict in Austin federal court in a personal injury suit. Plaintiff attempted to claim damages for a torn rotator cuff among other injuries to his neck and back. Sean discovered the plaintiff injured the same shoulder on at least two occasions prior to the accident which they argued were the cause of the rotator cuff injury.  Plaintiff’s counsel attempted to use his surgeon as an expert to establish a causative link between the collision and the injuries and requested the jury award over $350,000 to plaintiff. The jury agreed with Sean, answering “no” unanimously to the question of whether the minor rear-end collision caused the alleged injuries resulting in a take nothing verdict and a complete defense win.
