Partner Michael Machado Joins San Antonio Law Firm

Thompson Coe is pleased to announce the recent addition of Michael M. Machado to the San Antonio law firm’s Personal Injury and Casualty section. Michael brings over 33 years of experience as a defense lawyer representing diverse groups of individuals, organizations, and corporations ranging from high school students to hip-hop recording artists, professional and college athletes, and Fortune 100 companies.

He has successfully handled cases against the United States Department of Justice, the Texas Attorney General’s office, and the district and county attorneys from around the U.S., including Indiana, Ohio, Louisiana, and Texas.

Michael focuses on the defense of trucking and commercial carriers, dram shop cases, premises liability cases, first- and third-party insurance claims, and professional ethics.

At various points in my career I have had the opportunity to know and, at times, work side-by-side with multiple attorneys from Thompson Coe. Without fail, they demonstrated the highest level of legal talent, innovative thought, and professionalism. Michael received his J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law and his B.S. from St. Mary’s University. He is licensed in Texas and is fluent in Spanish.
