Thompson Coe Announces New Partner: Jason Yacuk

Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons is pleased to announce the appointment of a new Partner, Jason M. Yacuk. Mr. Yacuk is a member of the Insurance Litigation and Coverage section, and has been with Thompson Coe since 2006. Mr. Yacuk maintains an active litigation and insurance coverage practice related to environmental claims, toxic exposures, and toxicant remediation. He handles mass toxic tort litigation arising from exposure to a wide variety of alleged carcinogens and toxic agents, including MTBE, benzene, asbestos, silica and heavy metals. Mr. Yacuk also maintains an active litigation practice handling claims relating to premises liability, construction, construction defects, and product defects.

Mr. Yacuk received his Juris Doctor from the South Texas College of Law in 2000. While at law school, Mr. Yacuk was a Langdell Scholar and a member of Phi Delta Phi. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, cum laude, from the University of Houston in 1997.
