Six TC Attorneys Nominated as Texas Rising Stars by Super Lawyers
Mar 12, 2018
Thompson Coe is delighted to announce that 9 attorneys from the Austin, Dallas, and Houston offices have been named as Texas Rising Stars for 2018. After a rigorous nomination and review process, no more than 2.5% of all lawyers in the state are named as Rising Stars.
Lawyers are asked to nominate the best attorneys who are 40 or under, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. They are instructed to nominate lawyers they have personally observed in action — whether as opposing counsel or co-counsel, or through other firsthand courtroom observation. The following indicators are used to evaluate candidates: verdicts and settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, position within law firm, bar or other professional activities, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background, and other outstanding achievements.
In addition, Stephanie Rojo was recognized in the list of “Top 50 Up and Coming Women.” Super Lawyers recognizes the top lawyers in Texas via a patented multiphase selection process involving peer nomination, independent research and peer evaluation. The Texas lawyers who receive the highest point totals during this selection process are further recognized in Texas Super Lawyers Top Lists.
The full list of Rising Stars is published in the April 2018 issue of Texas Monthly and Texas Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition.
