Biography

Ron D. Wamsted serves as lead trial lawyer and leads a team who defends automobile manufacturers. He has resolved thousands of cases and has tried numerous catastrophic product liability cases to verdicts.

Ron’s practice focuses on companies’ lawsuits involving deaths, closed head injuries or paralysis, and he is a first chair trial lawyer for Texas and other states for these types of cases. He also represents other general product manufactures throughout Texas.

Ron is considered by many to be a top-tier product liability trial lawyer, and received the “Top Defense Verdict of 2005” in the National Law Journal and Defense Research Institute. He has tried more that 50 serious injury or product liability cases in his career.

  • Obtained defense verdict for Ford Motor Company against product liability claims involving the death of a child in Eastern District, Texas - Beaumont Division.
  • Obtained defense verdict for Ford Motor Company against product liability claims in the drowning death of an adult in Bastrop County.
  • Obtained defense verdict for Ford Motor Company against product liability claims involving the death of an adult in Bexar County.
  • Obtained defense verdict for Ford Motor Company against product liability claims involving ventilator dependent child in Travis County.
