Status of Vaccine Mandates…Again!

Another week, another HR Tip on the current status of all the various vaccine mandates. After a whirlwind beginning to 2022, today we’ll once again be recapping where the current vaccine mandates stand . . . at least as of today!
BLOCKED . . . for now (and probably forever). Last Thursday, January 13, 2022, the United States Supreme Court reinstated the stay of the OSHA Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) requiring employers with 100 or more employees to mandate vaccinations in the workplace or weekly COVID-19 testing. The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals will continue reviewing the legality of the ETS, but for now, employers can breathe a sigh of relief for the foreseeable future.
