Dallas Attorneys Win Complex Commercial Arbitration
The complex commercial dispute arose after the claimant (a subcontractor) alleged that the client failed to comply with the termination provision and several other provisions of the agreement. The claimant alleged more than $1.1 million in lost revenue and claimed that it was owed additional payment regarding 15 separate projects totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars—essentially requiring 15 mini-trials.
Michael Cedillo and Tom Annis successfully argued that the claimant had failed to comply with the material terms and conditions of the parties’ agreement. The arbitrator agreed and determined that the client had no obligation to pay the claimant.
