Holly James

Holly James primarily focuses her practice on labor and employment matters and commercial litigation.  She also has experience in insurance coverage, contracts, general liability, and education law.

Prior to joining Thompson Coe, Holly represented school districts in a variety of matters, including employment disputes, terminations and separation agreements, policy and process development, and risk management.

She has significant experience advising and representing employers with respect to claims of discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and First Amendment violations.  Holly has conducted numerous trainings and complex internal investigations.

She has also successfully defended employers in disputes before the EEOC, TWC, and in state and federal litigation.
