Arfeo Yllana is an experienced litigation attorney who has represented numerous contractors, developers, oil & gas companies, transportation and business clients in severe-injury and death cases involving trucking accidents, workplace accidents, and premises liability accidents, and design professionals in complex, multi-party construction defects lawsuits.
He has also represented clients in lawsuits involving commercial transactions, fraud, UCC claims, and trademark infringement. Obtained Post-Appraisal Summary Judgment on all of Plaintiff’s extra-contractual claims in First-Party property lawsuit, which was subsequently upheld on appeal.
Obtained summary judgment in burn case representing boiler installer where investigators determined the fire originated at the boiler.
Represented dozens of contractors, developers and design professionals in construction lawsuits where the payout did not exceed the applicable policy limits.
Obtained $20,000 judgment in a high-end vehicle property damage claim where the last offer was $200,000 and the claimed damages were $400,000.
Represented insurance carriers in Hurricane Ike Related MDL litigation.
