Thompson Coe Elects 18 New Partners in 2025

Thompson Coe is proud to announce the election of 18 new partners across six of our offices. This is our largest class of new partners and reflects our focus on strategic growth to meet the needs of our clients with a group of dedicated attorneys.
Austin
Alexandria Gonzalez is a trial attorney who focuses on defense against personal injury, Dram Shop Act, wrongful death, and construction defect claims. Her practice has a foundation in swift resolution where she has found success for her clients through motions to compel, dismissal of claims with prejudice, and motions for summary judgment.
Jared Grisham is a trial lawyer who zealously advocates for his clients on employer-side employment law, homeowner’s association disputes, and general commercial litigation. He prides himself on the comprehensive approach he takes that centers on always being prepared and communicating with the client.
Dallas
Emma Martin focuses her practice on general liability and catastrophic injury. She has experience with cases involving construction defects, commercial litigation, dram shop, and personal injury cases. She is a passionate advocate who understands the importance of attention to detail, communication, and a tailored approach for each client she represents.
Gina Mills maintains a diverse practice with an emphasis on premises liability, workplace accidents, automobile/trucking accidents, product liability matters, and construction defects. She is a passionate and attentive advocate, focusing on the specific needs of each client throughout the litigation process.
Zane Raphael focuses his practice on general liability and catastrophic injury cases involving automobile/trucking accidents, dram shop, premises liability, and products liability. He is a detail-oriented and results-driven litigator who has consistently succeeded for his clients by obtaining multiple summary judgments and negotiating favorable settlements in state and federal courts throughout Texas.
John Wiggins focuses his practice on commercial disputes, class actions, coverage matters, and corporate disputes impacting the insurance industry. He has represented and advised clients in the insurance, healthcare, technology, and financial industries. He has experience counseling U.S. and foreign companies on contract, business tort, and consumer protection issues—including those relating to bad faith, deceptive practices, damage enhancements, and third-party liability.
Denver
William Healy focuses his practice on commercial litigation, insurance defense, extra-contractual insurance defense, insurance coverage, construction litigation, and other civil litigation matters. He also clerked for the Honorable Jeffrey R. Pilkington, 1st Judicial District Court of Colorado, where he assisted in various civil and criminal matters.

Saugat Thapa focuses on commercial litigation, civil rights and employment litigation, product and premises liability, and insurance defense. He has represented numerous governmental and private entities (including multiple Fortune 500 companies) in a wide array of matters. He also clerked for the Honorable Christopher C. Zenisek, 1st Judicial District Court of Colorado.

Houston
Luis del Villar is a litigation attorney in general liability. His areas of concentration include personal injury, premises liability, and third-party insurance defense. Luis is passionate about giving his clients the excellent representation they deserve, and striving to maintain clear and open communication.

Jacqueline Kamaie is a bilingual, experienced litigator, focusing her practice on defending personal injury claims involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. She has represented numerous businesses and individuals in wrongful death and catastrophic injury claims, including premises owners, product designers and manufacturers, general contractors and subcontractors, trucking companies, and hotels.

David Points focuses his practice on general liability and catastrophic injury litigation, as well as domestic and surplus line carriers. He handles a wide variety of bad faith claims in both state and federal courts, leveraging his substantial experience to consistently achieve favorable results for his clients. Focused discovery, early exploration of settlement potential, and judicious use of motion practice are the key elements of his practice style. Tailoring the level of litigation to the size and complexity of the matter, he consistently achieves favorable results for his clients in a cost-conscious manner.

Brandon Rees handles cases involving commercial trucking, products liability, professional liability, premises liability, personal injury, dram shop, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, and construction fatality. He has represented small businesses, Fortune 500 companies, and large government defense contractors. His strategy is to approach the case offensively early and his philosophy is that you can win your case in a single deposition.

Stephen Romeo is a trial attorney whose practice focuses on complex litigation. He believes that effective and aggressive advocacy for his clients is best achieved by understanding the concerns and sensitivities of the organizations he represents.

Benjamin Ritz handles complex commercial insurance litigation and appeals. He focuses primarily on insurance coverage and defense for primary and excess insurers, including complex, multi-party insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation involving general liability, environmental pollution, construction defects, directors and officers coverage, errors and omissions coverage, and property insurance.

New Orleans
Mathew Feigler maintains a diverse practice with an emphasis on premises liability, automobile/trucking accidents, wrongful death claims, construction law, insurance bad faith actions, and general negligence cases. He has extensive experience navigating contentious issues throughout every step of litigation, in order to obtain the most favorable outcome for his clients.
Zack Wood focuses his practice on insurance coverage and defense litigation. He has significant experience handling a variety of issues in insurance coverage including first- and third-party commercial claims, hurricane claims, personal injury, and bad faith. He specializes in close interpretation of policy language and pursuing motion practice to enforce the language of the policy.
San Antonio
Jessica Gonzalez is focused on defending claims involving personal injury, premises liability, and construction defects. She has experience in handling matters from their initial stages throughout litigation and represents clients in diverse industries, including commercial transportation, trucking, construction, property restoration, and property management.

Jasmine Grant is focused primarily on labor and employment litigation, where she defends employers in legal matters before administrative agencies, such as the EEOC and TWC, as well as in state and federal courts. She has also assisted employers in conducting third-party investigations into allegations of misconduct by current or former employees, and drafting and revising personnel forms like personnel policies, employee contracts, and employee handbooks.
