
John Wiggins focuses his practice on Insurance Coverage & Litigation.
He specifically focuses on complex litigation, emphasizing representing and advising clientele in the insurance, healthcare, technology, and financial industries in both litigation and regulatory contexts.
He has experience counseling U.S. and foreign companies, along with their representatives and executives on contract, business tort, and consumer protection issues—including those relating to bad faith, deceptive practices, damage enhancements, and third-party liability.
John also has significant class action and appellate experience. He previously helped defend one of the world’s largest banks in international, antitrust class actions and related government investigations involving alleged manipulation of foreign exchange (FX) benchmarks.
Additionally, John has advised and represented companies in interlocutory and post-trial appeals in federal and state appellate forums, including companies facing issues related to jurisdiction, constitutional law, class proceedings, arbitration, property rights, and business disputes.
