John Wiggins focuses his practice on commercial disputes, emphasizing class actions, coverage matters, and corporate disputes impacting the insurance industry. He specifically concentrates on class actions and similarly complex suits. He has represented and advised clientele operating within the insurance, healthcare, technology, and financial industries at the trial level and on appeal.

John has experience counseling U.S. and foreign companies and their representatives and executives on contract, business tort, and consumer protection issues—including those relating to bad faith, deceptive practices, damage enhancements, and third-party liability.

He previously helped defend one of the world’s largest banks in international antitrust class actions and related government investigations involving alleged manipulation of foreign exchange (FX) benchmarks.

Additionally, John has advised and represented companies on interlocutory and post-trial appeals in federal and state appellate forums, including companies facing issues related to jurisdiction, constitutional law, class certification and settlement, arbitration, property rights, business torts, and fiduciary obligations.
