Thompson Coe Attorneys Obtain Defense Verdict in Tarrant County

Dallas partner David McFarland and associate Jessica Johns recently obtained a defense verdict for a local country club in a multi-fatality dram shop case in Tarrant County. The case involved an automobile collision resulting in three deaths. Surviving family members sued a local country club and Mexican food restaurant and claimed that each establishment violated the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Code by over-serving the driver. After a three week trial, the jury returned a defense verdict for Thompson Coe’s client and awarded no damages.
