Thompson Coe Attorneys Obtain Verdict for Large Machinery Manufacturer

David Taylor and Randy Nelson represented a large machinery manufacturer in a products liability case in Hillsboro, Texas. The Plaintiff was severely injured and brought claims of manufacturing, design, and marketing defects against the manufacturer. After an 8 day trial, the jury returned a complete defense verdict in favor of the manufacturer. They unanimously found that the machine had neither a manufacturing, design, nor marketing defect and that the Plaintiff’s negligence was the sole and proximate cause of his own injuries.
