Matthew Kolodoski Receives the Standing Ovation Award from Texas Bar

Dallas partner Matthew Kolodoski was recognized by the State Bar of Texas with the Standing Ovation Award for his exceptional contributions to the State Bar of Texas’s continuing legal education efforts in 2022. This award was created by TexasBarCLE, the State Bar of Texas’s division for providing continuing legal education and one of the premier providers in the nation, to recognize volunteers at continuing legal education programs who stand out each year for their extraordinary energy, commitment of times, and leadership.

According to Director of TexasBarCLE Hedy Bower, “All of our volunteers deserve our gratitude for contributing to the continuing education of their peers. Nevertheless, some stand out each year for extraordinary dedication and commitment. The staff looks forward to singling out individuals that not only gave enormously to our efforts, but also were gracious, easy to work with, and — oftentimes — helped us out in a real pinch.”

Matthew has given numerous presentations at TexasBarCLE programs over the last several years, including at its Advanced Business Law Course, Bill of Rights Course, and 101 Insurance Law Course. He is also the Course Director for TexasBarCLE’s 17th Annual Bill of Rights: Litigating the Constitution Course in May 2023.

Matthew is an experienced litigation attorney who has successfully represented clients through all phases of trial and appellate proceedings in state and federal courts throughout Texas. His practice focuses on the representation of insurance carriers in complex, multi-party insurance coverage actions and extra-contractual litigation arising from general liability, commercial and residential property, construction, life, and accident and health coverages. Matthew is Board Certified in Consumer and Commercial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
