Microsoft To Stop Use of Non-Competes, NDAs, & Will Publish Salary Ranges

On June 8, Microsoft announced several key initiatives aimed to strengthen its employee relationships and increase employee mobility. The new employment policies include eliminating the use of non-compete agreements in all employment contracts, with the exception of senior leaders. Additionally, the use of non-disclosure agreements that prevent disclosure of allegations of misconduct will be limited. Microsoft has also decided to publish salary ranges for all U.S. job postings.
