Chicago’s New Sexual Harassment Prevention Requirements Take Effect July 1

The Chicago City Council has passed amendments to the Chicago Human Rights Ordinance expanding upon Chicago employers’ obligations to undertake sexual harassment prevention efforts. The amendments create new policy, notice, training, and recordkeeping obligations for employers, and increase the penalties for violations.
