William D. Healy

William Healy focuses his practice on commercial litigation, insurance defense, extra-contractual insurance defense, insurance coverage, construction litigation, and other civil litigation matters.

After graduating from law school, William clerked for the Honorable Jeffrey R. Pilkington, 1st Judicial District Court of Colorado, where he assisted in various civil and criminal matters.

While in law school, he interned with the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee, the Honorable James C. Mahan United States District Court for the District of Nevada.

Representative Experience

Successfully defended at trial and before the Colorado Court of Appeals a client’s claim to fee-simple title of 20+ acres of developable property in the Denver area and resisted claims of fraud and forgery by a prior owner of the property.

Successfully obtained dismissal for failure to state a claim and summary judgment of extra-contractual claims asserted against first-party insurance carriers.
