
Samayia “Sam” Sneed focuses her practice on general liability defense, including premises liability, automobile and trucking accidents, products liability, and contractual disputes, representing clients in a wide range of personal injury and negligence matters.
She provides resolution-focused guidance to insurance carriers and insureds during the pre-suit phase and throughout active litigation, including liability analysis, investigation, discovery, alternative dispute resolution, defense strategy, and trial preparation.
Sam also has experience handling employment matters and assisting employers in defending against demands, administrative charges, and federal and state lawsuits alleging discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. She supports clients by reviewing workplace policies, employee handbooks, and employment and severance agreements to provide practical counsel when workplace issues arise.
During law school, Sam served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Charles Eskridge and the Honorable Kenneth M. Hoyt of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. She was also a Langdell Scholar and served as a Torts teaching assistant for four semesters. Before law school, Sam worked as a civil court clerk for the Travis County Justice of the Peace Court.
