
Samantha McCoy is an associate in the firm’s appellate section. Samantha graduated summa cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law, where she was a member of the Board of Advocates, Staff Writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice, Vice Magister of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society, the President and Founder of the Family Law Association, and a participant in the Asylum and Immigration Law Spring Break trip.
While in law school, Samantha also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Justice Liza Rodriguez of the Fourth Court of Appeals of Texas and law clerk for the Capital Habeas Unit of the Western District of Texas.
Outside of her law practice, she volunteers her time lobbying for legislative changes to assist survivors of violence.
