Robert Boone is a civil litigator who primarily focuses his practice on professional liability matters involving real estate brokers, lawyers, title companies, property managers, engineers, architects, insurance agents, accountants, and other professional clients. He is also experienced in commercial litigation matters, including complex business, real estate, and contract disputes.

Representative Experience

Obtained directed verdict for attorney client in legal malpractice suit brought by former client.

Obtained take-nothing summary judgment on behalf of real estate brokerage and agent in lawsuit involving claims of negligence, fraud, and Deceptive Trade Practices Act violations.

Obtained take-nothing summary judgment on all claims asserted against mortgage servicer client in lawsuit brought by former homeowner arising from foreclosure proceeding.

Obtained dismissal of all claims asserted against attorney client in seven-figure legal malpractice suit by successfully arguing client was not subject to Court’s jurisdiction.

Obtained dismissal of all claims asserted against real estate broker client in lawsuit arising from a proposed property transaction by obtaining expungement of lis pendens.

Successfully defended numerous administrative complaints filed against real estate brokerages and agents with the Texas Real Estate Commission with no action taken.
