Marvin H. Morris Jr.

Marvin Morris Jr. is a litigation attorney who focuses on professional liability and civil litigation. He represents clients in complex disputes, advises on litigation risk, and develops practical strategies tailored to each client’s objectives. His experience includes business disputes, personal injury claims, premises liability matters, and other negligence-based litigation.

Before joining the firm, Marvin represented clients through every stage of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation. Having worked on both plaintiff- and defense-side matters, he brings a broad perspective to case strategy and dispute resolution.

Marvin also has significant courtroom and trial experience. As an Assistant Criminal District Attorney with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office, he prosecuted felony cases from grand jury proceedings through trial and sentencing, tried numerous jury trials, and litigated complex evidentiary, constitutional, and procedural issues. This experience sharpened his ability to assess risk, develop persuasive arguments, and advocate effectively in high-pressure environments.

In addition to his civilian practice, Marvin serves as a Judge Advocate in the Texas Army National Guard, where he advises military commanders on administrative law, ethics, investigations, regulatory compliance, and operational law matters.
