Kolby J. Keller focuses his practice on coverage litigation and property disputes both commercial and residential. His practice includes defending insurance carriers at various stages of litigation, as well as pre-suit evaluation of breach of contract and bad faith claims. Kolby has experience drafting pleadings, preparing motions, and researching complicated legal issues.

While in law school, Kolby clerked for an insurance defense firm focusing on third-party defense and subrogation issues. Kolby participated in the South Texas College of Law Houston nationally ranked advocacy program and received the Dean’s Student Advocacy Service Award. He was also an active member of the Board of Advocates and served as the Board’s Co-Chair for his last year.

Kolby has experience researching and advising client in regulatory matters.

Kolby is also a certified mediator.

Representative Experience

Experience researching certificate of merit statutes in all 50 states regarding lawsuits against engineers and architects.

Obtained favorable ruling from Court of Appeals in Tyler regarding the Statute of Limitations in Insurance Policy.
