Cody Palasota focuses his litigation practice on insurance coverage and defense with an emphasis on defending against claims for personal injury.

Prior to joining Thompson Coe, Cody worked for a smaller insurance defense firm and also practiced at a boutique, general practice firm focused on civil litigation. In his time practicing law, Cody has worked hundreds of cases from top-to-bottom and litigated numerous motions, attended mediations, and taken and defended dozens of depositions. He has also written an appellate brief to the Supreme Court of Texas concerning a premises liability claim and sat second-chair for a seven-day trial. Cody has further followed his passion to serve his clients and his country by joining the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the United States Army Reserves in April 2021.

Cody uses his knowledge, broad work experience, and passion for the law to bring a multi-faceted outlook to issues concerning his clients to best serve them.
