Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons has achieved a top ranking of Band 1 for Insurance in Texas for work performed in 2010 and six attorneys are being recognized for their work in Insurance and Insurance: Regulation for Texas.

Brian Martin, a partner in the Houston office, was ranked Band 1 in Insurance for Texas. Chambers USA described Brian as “experienced coverage and defense practitioner. His practice is broad but he specializes in environmental, toxic tort and construction cases, and he recently achieved a positive outcome working on behalf of Crum & Forster in a complex bad faith case.”

Roger Higgins, a managing partner in the Dallas office, was ranked Band 2 in Insurance for Texas. Jay Thompson, a partner in the Austin office, was ranked 1 for Insurance: Regulation and 2 in Insurance for Texas. Chambers USA notes, “Jay Thompson moves into the top tier thanks to overwhelmingly positive market feedback. He represents insurance trade organizations in cases before the Texas Legislature and the Texas Department of Insurance, and has also represented insurers in litigations involving insurance bad faith, tax disputes and reinsurance.”

Will Davis, of counsel for the Austin office, was ranked as a Senior Statesman in Insurance: Regulation for Texas.
