Firm Wins Hail Jury Trial for State Farm Lloyds in Federal Court

On Tuesday, February 2, 2016, a nine person jury returned a total defense verdict in favor of State Farm Lloyds in the lawsuit styled Carlos Paz v. State Farm Lloyds, No. 4:14-CV-00693, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, Sherman Division.  In that case, State Farm Lloyds insured Mr. Paz’s home in Allen, Texas which sustained damaged from an April 3, 2014 hail storm.  After an inspection, State Farm Lloyds issued a claim payment that included the full replacement of the roof.  Unsatisfied with the claim payment, Mr. Paz retained the Voss Law Firm and filed suit.
