Going on Offense: Strategic Planning to Beat Reptile Tactics
This course considers common tactics associated with preparing for and taking a high exposure damages case to trial. This course will consider use of the Reptile Theory as means to sway a jury, specifically considering common facts in significant personal injury and products liability cases, as well as themes, witnesses, and exhibits. This course will also address how strategic planning early in litigation can diffuse the effectiveness of reptile tactics during the discovery stage and more effectively combat reptile tactics at trial
After finishing this course, attendees should possess the information, tools and additional resources to anticipate and combat reptile tactics throughout the life of the case—from early pleadings strategy, to trial, and through the appellate process.
