Upon completion of this course, the adjuster/attorney should know the elements of the Stowers and how to properly evaluate a settlement demand for Stowers liability under a number of scenarios including when the primary policy is eroding, when there is a tower of coverage, and when the settlement demand does not dispose of all claimants or all insured defendants.  This presentation will showcase a number of recent decisions evaluating the Stowers doctrine.
