Zackary B. Mazey

Entrusted by Fortune 100 clients throughout his twenty-year legal career, Zack Mazey focuses his practice on civil defense litigation.

His unique perspective enables him to offer his clients practical advice on complex issues faced in litigation nationwide, helping them solve their most difficult problems. Zack has litigated cases in diverse areas, including insurance disputes, wrongful death, personal injury, product liability, mass tort litigation, premises liability, and consumer debt collection.

He previously served as in-house counsel to a Fortune 100 insurance and financial services company, as well as a Fortune 100 telecommunications provider. He also served as Deputy General Counsel to a Governor, providing counsel on legal, legislative, and policy matters.

Successfully advised insurance company regarding existing provisions and revisions to policy language in response to exposures and changes to the law.

Successfully represented insurers in coverage disputes.

Successfully advised telecommunications company regarding pre-litigation matters.

Successfully defended of scores of lawsuits brought in state and federal courts by borrowers against loan originators and servicers, alleging violations of the state and federal consumer credit and protection acts, and the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act.

Successfully defended an automotive component safety systems manufacturer in product liability litigation involving personal injury and wrongful death.

Successfully defended an off-road vehicle manufacturer in federal (MDL 2016) and state personal injury litigation.

Successfully defended several automotive manufacturers in cases involving personal injury and wrongful death.

Successfully defended a target defendant in a premises liability case involving catastrophic personal injuries.
