Taylor Malatek devotes her practice to representing businesses and insurance companies involved in personal injury and property damage litigation in state and federal Courts throughout Texas.
She focuses on claims involving catastrophic injury, construction defect, commercial liability, products liability, and general insurance defense. Taylor prioritizes early case evaluation with the goal of swift resolution through favorable settlement or motions practice.
Before joining Thompson Coe, Taylor worked at a national firm, where she represented and advised employers in lawsuits alleging violations of state and federal statutes, such as Title VII, the FLSA, and the FMLA. Taylor also regularly advised clients on complex HR issues and compliance with employment statutes.

Prosecuted bet-the-company trade secret and breach of fiduciary litigation for Fortune 150 energy company, obtaining a significant settlement at the eve of trial.
Managed large scale e-discovery projects in complex, high-stakes litigation matters.
Obtained multiple no cause findings and dismissals from the EEOC, after conducting investigations of the charging party’s claims and submitting a position statement to the EEOC.
