Representative Experience
Successfully defended a dram shop suit for a Fortune 500 company in the United States, in which a drunk driver was catastrophically injured after buying beer at one of the stores in Lubbock, Texas. The case was removed to federal court on diversity grounds and later, after discovery was conducted and by applying pressure to opposing counsel, the case was dismissed. (United States District Court, Northern District of Texas).
Successfully defended a major Fortune 500 company in a high-stakes premise liability case. The case was removed to federal court, and defense achieved summary judgment, effectively dismissing all claims against them.
