Emily Mitchell is a litigator who practices in commercial litigation, complex litigation, and insurance defense matters. Before joining the firm, Emily worked at criminal defense firms, assisting in state and federal cases. She also worked at civil litigation firms, assisting in state and federal matters.

While in law school, Emily served as Articles Editor of the South Texas Law Review, earning the “Best Litigation Article” award for her comment submission. She also served as a BLSA (Black Law Students Association) member. Emily earned the C.A.L.I. Award (highest grade) in her opening statement/jury argument and criminal trial advocacy classes.
