Employees in Thompson Coe's Dallas office recently participated in a two week long food drive to to collect non-perishable food items for North Texas children, families, and seniors seeking assistance through the North Texas Food Bank. In addition to collecting food and monetary donations for our neighbors, Thompson Coe also provided for the four-legged friends of North Texas by donating food for the Food 4 Paws program. This program, funded through the Communities Foundation of Texas, enables the large-scale distribution of dog and cat food through the North Texas Food Bank partner agencies.

At the end of the drive, Thompson Coe was able to donate 9boxes of people food, 8boxes of pet food and $1,234 to the North Texas Food Bank. Put differently, the food drive raised a total of 422 pounds which will provide access to 352 meals for chronically hungry citizens and pets of North Texas.

This was Thompson Coe's 8th food drive for the North Texas Food Bank, and looks forward to partnering with them for many years to come.

The North Texas Food Bank (www.ntfb.org) is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of programs in 13 North Texas counties.
