food donationsEmployees in Thompson Coe's Dallas office recently participated in a two week long food drive to collect non-perishable food items for North Texas children, families, and seniors seeking assistance through the North Texas Food Bank. In addition to collecting food and monetary donations for our neighbors, Thompson Coe also provided for the four-legged friends of North Texas by donating food for the Food 4 Paws program. This program, funded through the Communities Foundation of Texas, enables the large-scale distribution of dog and cat food through the North Texas Food Bank partner agencies.

At the end of the drive, Thompson Coe was able to donate 32 boxes of people and pet food and $3,840 to the North Texas Food bank, which not only surpassed Thompson Coe's donations in 2018, but also exceeded the goals that Thompson Coe had set for this year. To put in perspective, every $1 donated is equivalent to 3 meals for hungry children, seniors and families.

This was Thompson Coe's 11th food drive for the North Texas Food Bank, and looks forward to partnering with them for many years to come.

The North Texas Food Bank (www.ntfb.org) is a nonprofit hunger relief organization that distributes donated, purchased and prepared foods through a network of programs in 13 North Texas counties.
