Thompson Coe Announces 2026 Minnesota Super Lawyers and 2026 Louisiana Rising Stars

Thompson Coe is pleased to announce the selection of partner Joseph Wetch Jr. to the 2026 Minnesota Super Lawyers list and partner Zack Wood to the 2026 Louisiana Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.

Joseph has been on the Super Lawyers list for 14 years and Zack has been on the Rising Stars list for three consecutive years. Joseph Wetch is a trial lawyer focusing his practice on employment, commercial, construction, and contractual law. Zack has significant experience handling a variety of issues in insurance coverage including first- and third-party commercial claims, hurricane claims, personal injury, and bad faith.

The Super Lawyers list is produced annually as a result of surveying attorneys across the state who have been licensed to practice for 10 years or more and only five percent of the total lawyers in each state are selected to receive this distinction. To be eligible for the Rising Stars list, an attorney must be 40 years of age or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or less, and only 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected.

The following indicators are used to evaluate candidates: verdicts and settlements, transactions, representative clients, experience, honors and awards, special licenses and certifications, position within law firm, bar or other professional activities, pro bono and community service, scholarly lectures and writings, education and employment background, and other outstanding achievements.
