Ninth Year Thompson Coe Ranked in “Best Law Firms” by U.S. News – Best Lawyers

Dallas, TX, United States, November 1, 2019 — U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers®, for the ninth consecutive year, announce Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, LLP has been ranked in the 2020 U.S. News – Best Lawyers® "Best Law Firms" list nationally in 1 practice areas and regionally in 9 practice areas. The leading survey of lawyers and law firms has ranked more than 13,372 firms in 75 practice across the nation to produce their list of 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier firms.

The rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and highest number of client ballots on record," said the Best Lawyers "Best Law Firms" press release. "To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top 4 percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S. Over 10,000 attorneys provided more than 800,000 law firm assessments, and over 10,000 clients provided more than 90,000 evaluations." 

Clients were asked to provide feedback on firm practice groups, addressing expertise, responsiveness, understanding of a business and its needs, cost-effectiveness, civility, and whether they would refer another client to the firm. Here is what a few had to say:

In addition to information from these surveys, the rankings incorporate the 7.3 million evaluations of 54,463 individual leading lawyers collected by Best Lawyers in its most recent annual survey.
