Marlaina Wright Obtains Take Nothing Judgment in Bench Trial

The Plaintiff’s car was vandalized and brought to Defendant dealership for repair. The Plaintiff was unhappy with the cost of the repairs and felt that the dealership was violating city ordinances and exaggerating their pricing. The Plaintiff subsequently removed her car from the dealership to take to another body shop. Six weeks later, Plaintiff alleged missing parts and demanded the return of those parts.

The court found that the Defendant did not violate any city ordinances due to the contracts set in place and witness testimony provided demonstrated that Plaintiff received all parts and pieces of her car. Based on these facts, the judge awarded zero to the Plaintiff.
