Houston partner Daniel O’Neil and senior attorney Benjamin Ritz were both honored as Fellows in the new class of the Houston Bar Foundation. Less than 1% of the Houston Bar Association’s membership is invited to become a Fellow each year.

The Houston Bar Foundation is the charitable arm of the Houston Bar Association and was founded to support pro bono legal services in Houston.

Daniel O’Neil is an experienced dispute resolution and litigation lawyer. Daniel is a member of the firm’s Professional Liability section, where he pursues creative solutions to resolve complicated issues in professional malpractice, catastrophic injury, and other disputes.

Benjamin Ritz handles complex commercial insurance litigation and appeals. He focuses primarily on insurance coverage and defense for primary and excess insurers, including complex, multi-party insurance coverage and bad-faith litigation involving general liability, environmental pollution, construction defects, directors and officers coverage, errors and omissions coverage, and property insurance. His experience includes pre-suit resolution and litigation of residential and commercial property damage and design defects, auto coverage, attorney’s fee disputes, chemical compound liability, and bodily injury to employees.

Ben and Daniel were both previously selected as Fellows of the Houston Young Lawyers Foundation and the Texas Bar Foundation.
