Biography

Scott Winstead is a successful trial attorney focusing on transportation and workers' compensation defense. Scott focuses his practice in interstate carrier defense, mass tort and occupational health litigation, commercial litigation, workers’ compensation, general civil litigation, and maritime law. Scott also represents agents, realtors, attorneys, and other professionals in errors and omissions cases, and he is particularly seasoned in representing clients in all aspects of managed healthcare disputes. Practicing law for nearly 15 years, Scott represents a wide range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies and international insurers. Scott has significant trial experience having tried both jury and bench trials to successful conclusions.

Scott served as an officer in the Navy before going to law school. He earned his J.D from Loyola University School of Law where he graduated cum laude, and was honored as a William J. Crowe Scholar.
