Samantha Lewis maintains a diverse practice in insurance litigation, including personal injury and wrongful death claims, products liability, premises liability, professional liability, and construction law. She also has experience with complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts.

Samantha attended Baylor Law School, where she helped develop the 2018 mock trial competition known as Top Gun, and assisted with the creation of the Baylor Law School Executive LL.M. in Litigation Management, the first of its kind in the nation. As a member of the Baylor Public Interest Legal Society, she helped design and execute Adoption Day, a pro bono event for the citizens of McLennan County in 2015-2018. Samantha was also a successful participant at the Academy of the Advocate in St. Andrews, Scotland.

Representative Experience

Secured a motion for summary judgment dismissal of a contractor in a construction defect lawsuit where damages sought exceeded $1.1 million.

Secured a motion for summary judgment dismissal for a client on a contractual indemnity claim involving six-figure damages.

Assisted with successfully obtaining a writ of mandamus which resulted in the dismissal of a significant personal injury claim.

Negotiated a favorable settlement for a national insurance company involving traumatic personal injury.
