Ricardo J Salinas is a zealous, creative, and through associate in the firm’s Austin office who maintains a practice in insurance litigation. 

Ricardo graduated cum laude from St. Mary’s University School of Law and was also named to the Dean’s List on two occasions.  While at St. Mary’s, Ricardo participated in the school’s advocacy program, with a focus on Alternative Dispute Resolution, and helped the team achieve national success in advocacy during his time there. 

He represented St. Mary’s during the 2018 ABA National Arbitration Competition, 2019 ABA National Mediation Competition, 2019 National Sports Law Negotiation Competition, finishing as a national finalist, 2019 ABA National Arbitration Competition, finishing as a regional champion, and 2019 William W. Daniel National Invitation Mock Trial Competition.  In addition, Ricardo was also the negotiations champion for his internal school negotiations competition.

Before law school, Ricardo was a licensed public school teacher, with a certification to teach all core subjects in the state of Texas for all public school grade levels, including English, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, and History.

Outside of his law practice, Ricardo enjoys spending time with family and friends, and spending time on his computer coding and reading.
