Firm Appoints Two New Partners

Thompson, Coe, Cousins & Irons, L.L.P. is pleased to announce the election of two new partners in the Dallas office – Daniel P. Buechler and Jason R. Jobe.

Daniel P. Buchler’s practice is focused on the representation of insurance carriers in matters involving personal and commercial lines policies. He has extensive experience litigating first-party property claims, coverage disputes, UM/UIM claims, D&O claims, bad faith causes of action, Stowers and other extra-contractual causes of action in the third-party context, and class action disputes. Mr. Buechler also represents property owners, developers, and management companies against premises liability claims as well as contract claims arising from lease agreements, and he also has extensive experience in the areas of product liability, construction defect, property disputes, and trucking litigation in both state and federal courts.

Jason R. Jobe represents insurance agents, attorneys, real estate agents, accountants and other professionals in litigation throughout Texas. He has substantial experience defending insurance agents on claims for negligent procurement, fraud violations of the Texas Insurance Code and violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Mr. Jobe has significant experience defending attorneys on legal malpractice and breach of fiduciary duty claims, as well as representation in grievance proceedings. He also has experience handling claims against real estate agents and architects on claims for negligence, breach of contract, fraud and violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. Mr. Jobe is a member of the Professional Liability section.
