Labor & Employment Group Participate in Texas FMLA Update 2004

The firm's Labor & Employment Law Group participated in a seminar on the latest FMLA developments. The seminar addressed the latest Texas and federal court decisions and legislative changes, and untangled overlapping leave and disability laws. Additional topics included how to prevent employee misuse and abuse of the FMLA; how to avoid legal landmines when terminating employees on FMLA leave; and how to protect yourself from individual liability for violations of the FMLA. The seminar took place in Houston, Texas.
